About

Background

Established in 2016, Wynnefield Consulting is a small independent business specialising in clinical skills and simulation based education across the range of healthcare professions.

Owner, Ann Sunderland, qualified as a registered nurse in 1986. After working in a hospital setting for two years, Ann moved into general practice and was one of the first nurse practitioners in the Yorkshire and Humber region. After moving to a hybrid clinical and managerial role within a local clinical commissioning group, Ann moved into full time academia in 2006. In 2011, she was instrumental in designing the clinical skills and simulation suite at Leeds Beckett University and developed a special interest in simulation based education.
